If you have the PC a bit slow and you want a faster OS, you can improve the speed when using XP.
Go to Properties of My Computer.
Go to the Advanced tab. In the Performance box click Settings
.
Visual Effects tab, disable all options except:
-use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop
-use visual styles on windows and buttons
Click Apply and then Ok and you're done! ;)
