speed up boot and shut down Windows XP Windows

E 'can speed up the opening and closing of Windows XP, with some small modifications to the registry. Open the Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> type regedit) and look for the key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\ Control Panel \\ Desktop Edit

key values:

"HungAppTimeout" = "2000"
"WaitToKillAppTimeout" = "5000"


Then look for the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ SYSTEM \\ CurrentControlSet \\ Control and change

:

"WaitToKillServiceTimeout" = "3000"

can decrease a little bit more .. but I recommend you do not overdo it!
For your information, if you would like to restore the default values, these are:
"HungAppTimeout" = "5000"
"WaitToKillAppTimeout" = "20000"
"WaitToKillServiceTimeout" = "20000"

Reboot the PC and from now on the opening and closing of Windows will be faster: D
